Job Description:
Busy general Medica/Surgical Hospital seeking certified CRNA for Chief CRNA position; will oversee 5 additional hospital employed CRNAs; supervised by MDA. There are approximately 36,000 surgery cases per year and about 360 OB deliveries per year.
$200,000 salary
Malpractice paid; $1mil/$3mil

Call is 1:6 with day off after call
Duties may include:
Major vascular anesthesia
Obstetric anesthesia
Pediatric anesthesia
Trauma anesthesia
Anesthesia for outpatient surgery
Administrative/Leadership duties
Will administer spinal anesthesia
Will insert Central Venous catheters, arterial catheters, and lumbar epidural catheters
Will administer other regional anesthesia blocks as needed
Galesburg Cottage Hospital is a 173-bed hospital located in Northern Illinois, 40 miles south of Quad Cities, 35 miles north of Peoria and 175 miles west of Chicago. The hospital has more than 550 dedicated employees and more than 70 diversified physicians on staff working hard to care for patients within their own community. This hospital opened in 1982 and serves the city of Galesburg and a four-county area in western Illinois providing a total service population of 135,000. A new medical office building was completed in 2002 and is located on the hospital campus.
