The CRNA will work with an anesthesiologist and three other CRNAs. Approximately 2,200 surgeries and endoscopies are performed annually in three surgery suites and two procedures rooms. This position offers a great deal of autonomy and is an excellent opportunity to work with dedicated physicians in a quality hospital. Professional liability insurance is provided for the CRNA in this position.
The Hospital is a 25-bed, freestanding, not-for-profit facility with 22 physicians and 355 staff members dedicated to providing acute medical/surgical services and obstetrics in an inpatient setting, as well as a wide array of outpatient services. The surgical department provides general, orthopedic, peripheral vascular, ophthalmologic, thoracic, oncologic, oral, gynecologic, urologic, plastic, ENT and endoscopic services.
This charming rural community, with a population of nearly 5,000 residents, boasts tree-lined streets with beautiful turn-of-the-century homes and churches located on the Piscataquis River and Sebec Lake. Year-round outdoor activities, which include hunting, hiking, and camping, are abundant in this beautiful area of central Maine.
