| St. Joseph Mercy Livingston Hospital in Howell, a 136-bed facility and the only full-service hospital in the county, serves the health care needs of Livingston County residents.
Services include an award-winning 24-hour emergency department, family birth center, inpatient and outpatient surgery, including joint replacement, a variety of diagnostic and outpatient services and over 300 physicians serving patients.
Recently we have become a teaching hospital, as the site for the newly accredited Family Medicine Residency Program.
Summary:
Under the medical direction of an Anesthesiologist, develops anesthesia plans for patients and administers anesthesia. Observes patients' physiological condition while under anesthesia and initiates corrective actions as necessary or as directed by physician. Performs pre- and post- operative evaluations on assigned cases, and documents same in patient charts and required records.
Education:
Education: Requires Bachelor's degree in Nursing. Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing Anesthesiology.
Experience:
Experience: No previous experience required.
Licensure:
Current Registered Nurse and Nurse Specialty License in State of Michigan. Annual BLS recertification.
