| Absolute Staffers is seeking an energetic, compassionate CRNA for a full-time, 2 yr assignment at the Minneapolis Veterans Association Medical Center in Minnesota (MVAMC)!! Services provided by the Anesthesia Service include direct care for all patients undergoing general, regional or monitored anesthesia; consultive services for patients and medical staff regarding pain management; guidance and consultation for patients receiving sedation for procedures outside of the operating suite; anesthesia care for patients undergoing ECT; establishing airways during CPR and other
emergency situations; and assessment and monitoring and intervention during the pre-procedural, intra-procedural and post-procedural periods. Predominate age of surgical patients is 65-75 years; the average ASA classification is 3-5.
Currently, nine operating rooms are staffed with plans to open the tenth room, 4 cystoscopy rooms and an ambulatory surgery room (local anesthesia only) that are all physically part of the OR suite and staffed with nursing personnel.
The Medical Center performs all types of complex surgery (except transplantation) including cardiopulmonary bypass procedures, surgical subspecialties for ENT, Eye, General Surgery, Gynecology, Colon rectal, Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, Plastics, Podiatry, Urology and Vascular surgery.
Qualifications:
-Graduate of an Accredited Anesthesia program.
-Successfully passed the certification examination of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists.
-Licensed in a State, Territory or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia.
-Maintain BCLS, CPR, & ACLS Certifications. |
