| Our Client, Glendive Medical Center of Glendive, Montana is currently recruiting for a CRNA. The candidate will join an established team of two CRNA’s who have over 20 years of combined experience.
Glendive Medical Center is a CAH facility which offers a full range of services for a quickly growing community. The executive team of Glendive Medical is progressive and visionary. The hospital incorporates technology and protocol most often found at larger facilitates. Surgical services include OB, orthopedic, ophthalmology and general surgery. The hospital currently has two surgical suites with capital improvements plans underway.
The position requires rotating and very minimal call. The majority of work weeks average forty hours or less and offers excellent life work balance.
Glendive is a bustling small community ideal for single individuals or families.
Position Summary:
Selects and administers intravenous, spinal and other anesthetics prior to and during surgical or medical procedures, as a member of the anesthesia care team. Monitors patient reactions and vital signs during and after anesthesia and takes remedial action when warranted. Submits postoperative report on patient condition, and maintains records of anesthetics administered.
Required Qualifications:
• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist and registered in the State of Montana or the ability to obtain.
• Current Montana RN license and State Nurse Anesthetist Certification will be required prior to first day of employment.
• BLS required, ACLS preferred.
• Prefer 2+ years of experience.
• Able to work independently.
• Thorough understanding of all regulatory requirements and legal consequences of anesthesia care.
• Proven track record of working within groups and utilizing effective communication skills and professionalism.
