The facility operates under a physician medical direction model with a care team consisting of 2 MDs and 8 CRNAs, structured to support coordinated anesthesia care. Locum tenens CRNA coverage is sought to address current staffing needs within the Anesthesia Department.

Clinicians on assignment will also find architectural and cultural points of interest, including the Spectre Set Ruins in Millbrook and Bamahenge, a full-scale fiberglass replica of Stonehenge, along with a variety of museums, caves, monuments, and outdoor spaces distributed across the state.

About the clinician's workday

Clinicians in this role will provide anesthesia services under a 100% medical direction care team model during day shifts at an operating room facility in Alabama, Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The surgical case mix includes general surgery, neurological, vascular, obstetric, limited pediatric, orthopedic, urology, and regional anesthesia procedures, with an expected volume of 35 to 40 cases per day. Documentation is completed using paper charts via the HST system. No call coverage is required for this locum tenens assignment.
