Aya Locums is seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide support at a high-performing ambulatory surgery center in Alaska. This assignment offers a streamlined clinical environment, autonomy in anesthesia care, and the chance to work alongside a dedicated surgical group in one of the most stunning regions in the U.S.

Assignment Details
• Start Date: Mid–January 2026
• Schedule Details: Monday - Friday 40-hour work week

Work Details
• Key Skills:
o Proficiency performing nerve blocks
o Comfortable placing catheters (interscalene & adductor canal)
o Ability to manage anesthesia without anesthesiologist oversight
• Primary Blocks:
o Interscalene (most common)
o Supraclavicular, infraclavicular, axillary
o Adductor canal, genicular, PENG, popliteal
o Occasional TAP blocks
• Case Types:
o High-volume general surgery
o Hernias, ENT, eye cases, sinus procedures
o Ortho general, colonoscopies
o No urology
o Rare neurosurgery/ortho day (1 Thursday/month; may be pre-covered)
• Annual Volume: Approximately 2,800 cases
• Credentialing: In-house, fast, and coordinated quickly; Alaska primary-source verification done rapidly

• Environment: Ambulatory surgery center — no complex inpatient hospital cases
• Support Staff: Collaborative surgeons and OR team
• Patient Mix: Steady daily flow, varying by schedule

Requirements
• License: Active Alaska CRNA license preferred; client open to licensing candidates
• Certification: CRNA board certification required
• Experience: Must be comfortable practicing independently and highly competent in regional blocks
