Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) – Locum Tenens Opportunity
We are seeking flexible, experienced CRNAs for a busy anesthesia service line with scheduled shifts plus call coverage. This opportunity offers a strong OB component, regional anesthesia exposure, and consistent case volume.
🕒 Schedule & Coverage
Start Date: April 20, 2026
Shift Type: Day shift
Standard Schedule:
5x8s (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
Daily Staffing Model
6 CRNAs in the OR Monday–Friday
1 CRNA on OB float during the day
Serves as primary call overnight
Post-call day off provided
1 CRNA on secondary call overnight
No post-call day off
Potential Night Coverage
There may be integration of night shifts in the future:
1 CRNA covering 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM, Monday–Friday
Week-long in-house night assignments
Seeking providers open to days, call, and potential night coverage
☎️ Call Structure & Scheduling Notes
Call is required
When working day shift + call, total commitment may be up to 16 hours
Day shift + pager coverage from 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
No call-back rate
After holding pager overnight:
Provider is off during regular hours the following day
Holds pager again overnight (paid hourly)

~6,500 cases annually
Primary Case Types:
General surgery
Orthopedics
OB/GYN (including TOLACs and VBACs)
~473 deliveries annually
~220 C-sections
Additional Cases:
ENT
Podiatry
Urology
Plastics
Radiology
Vascular
Healthy pediatric cases (age 1+, primarily ENT)
🧠 Regional Anesthesia Expectations
No nerve catheters
Most blocks are performed
Must be proficient in:
Epidurals
Spinals
Ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia
Occasional blocks include:
PECS
Serratus plane
Erector spinae
TAP
Cervical plexus
