About the clinician's workday

The clinician will provide autonomous anesthesia care for gastroenterology procedures during 8 or 10 hour day shifts starting at 0700 or 0730. The clinician will manage 12-17 cases per day consisting of mostly GI and bread and butter ambulatory procedures with no high ASA cases or hospital procedures. Responsibilities include conducting thorough pre-operative assessments, administering anesthesia safely across 9 endoscopy suites at 3 locations, and coordinating post-operative recovery using paper charting documentation. The position requires board certification and prescriptive authority while operating autonomously without call coverage obligations in a supportive ambulatory environment.
