Job ID: CRNA Locums Opportunity – SC
Assignment Details:
Start Date: Flexible (June/July)
Contract Length: 13 weeks (potential 3–6 month assignment)
Schedule: 40 hours/week (must work every week; no part-time)
Shift Options: 5x8s, 4x10s, or 3x12s
50-mile radius rule (no local candidates)
Location & Coverage:
Based in Lexington, SC with rotation to ASCs in Lexington, Irmo, and Northeast Columbia
ASC coverage typically 1x/week (occasionally 2x)
May finish shift at ASC; if cases end early, return to main hospital to complete shift
Work Details:
Support Staff: Anesthesia techs
Volume: ~150 anesthetics/day across OR, ASCs, IR, Cath Lab, EP, OB, MRI
Patient Population: Adult–geriatric (very limited pediatrics; not assigned to travelers)
Department: 70 CRNAs, 15 anesthesiologists (medical direction care team model)
Case Types: GYN, ortho, urology, vascular
OR Setup: 31 ORs (25 in use daily) + 9 non-OR sites
EMR: Epic (highly preferred)
Equipment: Glidescope, Alaris IV pumps, Draeger anesthesia machines
Skills: No regional or block skills required
Practice Setting:
Hospital / Medical Center
Ambulatory Surgery Centers
Requirements:
Board Certified CRNA
Active state license or compact (willing to license)
ACLS, BLS, PALS (preferred)
Minimum 2 years experience
Credentialing:
60–90 days
