CRNA Opening Florida

Job description

We are seeking a CRNA for a locum tenens assignment beginning June 15, 2026, at a hospital-affiliated outpatient setting in a coastal Florida community. This position offers a structured weekday schedule with additional call responsibilities, making it a strong fit for providers comfortable with a mix of scheduled cases and OB coverage.

The regular schedule runs Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with staggered staffing coverage extending into the evening. Coverage includes multiple OR rooms, cath lab, interventional radiology, and a dedicated 24-hour OB room. Evening coverage tapers down to a single overnight OB provider from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Weekend call is required, consisting of 24-hour OB coverage from Saturday morning through Sunday morning. All providers must attend a mandatory onsite orientation held on the fourth Friday at 7:30 AM.

This is a supervised anesthesia model where CRNAs work under anesthesiologist direction 100% of the time. CRNAs and physicians both perform labor epidurals, and case types include endoscopy, ENT, GYN, interventional radiology, total joints, plastics, podiatry, spine, and urology. The facility operates Cerner as its EMR system and supports a moderate-sized hospital environment with medical/surgical, ICU, and NICU capabilities, though it is not a designated trauma center.

Candidates must hold an active Florida license and DEA, with preference given to those already licensed. Active ACLS, BLS, PALS, AHA certifications, and a current TB test are required. The facility requires submission of 24 months of case logs for credentialing. Providers must reside more than 60 minutes from the facility, as local candidates are not eligible for this assignment.

This is a great opportunity for CRNAs seeking consistent weekday hours with additional call, diverse case exposure, and the chance to work in a desirable coastal Florida location.
