The facilities serving this assignment are two outpatient surgical and endoscopy centers supporting outpatient surgeries, endoscopy procedures, and short-stay care depending on patient conditions. The Pasadena location handles primarily ASA 1-3 cases with most patients discharged the day of surgery, and maintains on-site anesthesia support staff consisting of 5 full-time CRNAs and one full-time Anesthesia Technician during the hours of 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Clinicians must be willing to cover both facility locations and reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility.
St. Petersburg, Florida offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of cultural and recreational attractions. Notable destinations include the Salvador Dali Museum, Sunken Gardens, the St. Pete Pier, the James Museum, and the Imagine Museum, providing a well-rounded selection of arts and history experiences. The surrounding area also features outdoor recreation opportunities at Fort De Soto Park, waterfront activities including dolphin-watching cruises, shelling excursions through Shell Key Preserve, and parasailing along the coast.
Clinicians in this role will provide anesthesia services under a physician supervision model during day and 24-hour shifts at outpatient and operating room facilities in St. Petersburg and Pasadena, Florida, Monday through Thursday, with no call required. The surgical case mix includes spinal anesthesia, OB cases, bread and butter cases, and ASA 1-3 outpatient surgeries and endoscopy procedures, averaging 10-20 cases daily. All clinicians must be prepared to cover both facility locations and maintain flexibility with shift times, as scheduling is confirmed the day prior by surgical and anesthesia staff. NBCRNA Board Certification, a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, proficiency in spinal and OB procedures, and prescriptive authority are required for all clinicians in this role.
