Anesthesiology
We are seeking experienced CRNAs for a long-term locums assignment at a hospital in Idaho. This is a full-time, continuous coverage role (not block scheduling) with a diverse case mix and Level II trauma exposure.
Position Highlights
Full-Time Coverage: 40 hours/week with shifts varying between 8s, 10s, 12s + one 24-hr & one 16-hr shift weekly.
Call Required: 1 weekend call shift/month + 2 weeknight call shifts/month (option to substitute with 1 Sat & 1 Sun regular shift every 3 months).
Long-Term Stability: Facility prefers 6–12 month commitments with continuous coverage.
Position Details
Location: Idaho
Contract Length: 6–12 months preferred
Schedule: Weekly mix of 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts + 24-hr & 16-hr shifts; schedule released in 6-week blocks
Practice Setting: Hospital | 17 MOR, 7 DSC, cath labs, endo, radiology
Coverage Model: Supervision-based anesthesia
Patient Population: Adolescents through geriatric (90%+ over age 12)
Hospital Size: 378 beds | Level II Trauma
EMR: Epic
Case Mix/Skills: General, gyn, ortho, spine, crani, plastics, lungs, healthy peds, eye, GI, structural hearts, EP, endo, IR, MRI
Not included: Burns, transplants, open hearts, sick peds, OB
CRNAs: Perform spinal blocks, occasional arterial lines (not required); no epidurals or central lines
Requirements
Board Certification: Required
Licensure: Open to licensing (Idaho license accepted; willing to license new providers)
DEA & CSR: Required
Experience: Minimum 1 year (may consider 6 months)
Credentialing: 30–45 days if licensed; up to 90–120 days if licensing needed
