Aya Locums is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide ongoing, full-time locum tenens coverage at a hospital-based facility in Idaho. Assignment Details
• Start Date: April, 2026
• Contract Length: Facility preference is 6 months to 1 year; continuous coverage required
• Schedule: 40 hours of scheduled work per week
• Shift Structure: Varies weekly between 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts
• Extended Coverage: Includes one 24-hour shift plus one 16-hour shift per week
• Call: Required
o 1 weekend call shift per month
o 2 weeknight call shifts per month

• Specialty: CRNA
• Coverage Need: Ongoing, full-time (40 hours/week)
• Patient Population: Adolescent, child, adult, and geriatric
o 90%+ of patients are over age 12
• Department Overview:
o 17 main operating rooms
o 7 day surgery center rooms
o Additional coverage includes specials, cath labs, endoscopy, radiology, MRI
• Anesthesia Model: Supervision-based anesthesia practice
• Hospital Size: 378 beds
• EMR: Epic
Case Mix & Skills Required:
• GYN, general surgery, orthopedics, spine, crani, plastics, thoracic/lung cases
• Healthy pediatrics, eye, GI, endoscopy
• Structural heart, electrophysiology (EP)
• Interventional radiology and MRI
• Level II Trauma experience required
Excluded Cases:
• No burns, transplants, open-heart cases, sick pediatrics, or OB
Procedures:
• Spinal blocks required
• No epidurals or central lines for locums
• Occasional arterial lines (not required)
• CRNAs do not perform their own regional anesthesia/blocks

Credentialing Timeline:
o 30–45 days if already licensed
