Anesthesiology
Position Overview:
We are seeking experienced Locum CRNAs to join our anesthesia team at a busy Level II Trauma center in Illinois. This is a high-acuity community hospital with a wide range of complex surgical cases. Enjoy a consistent Monday–Friday schedule (4x10s) and the support of a robust care team model, including anesthesiologists and anesthesia techs.
Case Mix Includes:
Neuro
Vascular
Thoracic
General surgery
GYN
Urology
Interventional GI (high volume)
Cardiology testing/EP
Regional blocks
❌ No OB epidurals
❌ CRNAs typically not involved in cardiac cases
⚠️ Healthy peds are rare; all pediatric and OB cases go to a nearby sister hospital
Additional Details:
Supervision Model: 100% medically directed by anesthesiologists
Support: 9–11 anesthesiologists per shift + full Anesthesia Tech staff
EMR: Epic
Population: Suburban/rural patient base just outside of Chicago
