CRNA Locums Opportunity – Iowa


Assignment Overview

Start Date: ASAP (12/22/2025 target)

Duration: Ongoing

EMR: Cerner

Schedule & Call

Monthly Requirement: 20 shifts per month

Weekday Shifts: 7:00am–5:00pm

Weeknight Call: 5:00pm–7:00am (post-call day off provided)

Weekend Shifts: 24-hour shifts, 7:00am–7:00am

Call: Required; included within the shift structure


Case Mix

General Anesthesia

Blocks & Epidurals

OB — Required

No Hearts, No Neuro

Level II Trauma

Daily Volume: 5–15 cases depending on specialty and flow

Patient Ages: 85% adult/geriatric, 15% pediatrics/adolescent


Practice Model

CRNAs practice independently


Requirements

Active Iowa CRNA license

ACLS & PALS

Clean background and malpractice history for temp privileges

Two professional references required


Credentialing

Estimated timeframe: 30 days

Temp privileges available with clean file
