Aya Locums is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a full-time locum tenens opportunity in Monticello, Kentucky. This is a 6-month assignment at a Critical Access Hospital offering 12-hour day shifts, rotating call coverage, and consideration for candidates needing Kentucky licensure.
SCHEDULE
- Start Date: January 4, 2027
- Potential start 6–8 weeks after offer
- Contract Length: 26 weeks
- Full-time coverage
- 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
- Rotating call required
- Weeknight and weekend coverage may be needed
PRACTICE SETTING
- Critical Access Hospital
- Operating Room / Surgical Services
- Collaborative environment with surgeons and OR staff
- Comprehensive perioperative anesthesia care
CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform comprehensive pre-anesthesia evaluations
- Develop individualized anesthesia plans
- Administer and manage anesthesia during surgical procedures
- Perform airway management, including video laryngoscopy
- Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthesia as needed
- Collaborate with surgeons and the healthcare team
- Provide patient and family education regarding anesthesia and postoperative care
REQUIREMENTS
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program
- Active Kentucky RN license required
- Kentucky APRN-CRNA license required
- Willing to consider licensing candidates
- 2+ years of CRNA experience preferred
- BLS required
- ACLS required within 30 days of hire
- PALS required within 90 days of hire
- Must be comfortable with rotating call coverage
