CRNA Opportunity – Rockport, Maine
Immediate Start | Full-Time Locum | 3-6+ Month Contracts

We are seeking two Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for a full-time locum opportunity in Rockport, Maine, starting as soon as possible. This position is ideal for providers looking to join a collaborative, patient-centered team in a high-acuity hospital setting.

Assignment Details
Contract Length: Initial contracts of 6 months preferred; minimum of 3 months accepted with potential to extend

Schedule: 36–40 hours/week

Common shift times: 7:00a–5:30p or 7:00a–7:30p

Alternate shift options available: 9:00a–7:30p, 9:00a–9:30p, 11:00a–11:30p

No overtime (40+ hrs allowed at regular hourly rate)

Typical breaks and lunch periods provided

Volume: Approx. 100 surgical cases per day

No Call Required

Practice Setting
Hospital-Based with a Level 1 Trauma Center

Collaborative practice model under a medical direction billing structure

CRNAs work alongside a dedicated group of physician anesthesiologists

EMR: EPIC

50 Operating Rooms

Serving patients across all age groups, though locums will not cover pediatric, thoracic, or OB cases

Procedures & Case Types
CRNAs will handle:

General Adult Surgical Cases

Spinal Anesthesia

Neurosurgical Cases

Ventilation Management

Local Infiltration

Excluded: Open heart, regional blocks, central line placement, pediatric, thoracic, and OB anesthesia

Qualifications
Board Certification – Required

BLS & ACLS – Required (PALS optional)

Active ME license – Highly preferred (willing to consider candidates in process)

Minimum 1 year CRNA experience in a Level 1 trauma center – Required

Compensation & Travel
Rate: $200/hour + travel and lodging

Travel & Lodging:

Hotel accommodations provided

Standard rental car

Mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate
