CRNA Locum Need in Maine - PRN coverage

Job description

We are seeking a CRNA to provide locum coverage at a hospital in Machias, Maine. This position offers flexibility with PRN, part-time, or full-time coverage and may lead to a permanent opportunity for the right candidate.

Position Details
• Start Date: As soon as credentialed
• Contract Length: Ongoing Assignment,
• Shift Details: 8 hour shifts with rotating call 1:3
• Open Shifts:
o 2/2 – 2/6
o 3/2 – 3/6
o 3/30 – 4/10
o 5/26 – 5/29
o 6/1 – 6/5
o 7/6 – 7/10

Clinical & Department Details
• Support Staff: OR nurses, MDs
• Coverage Needed: Full-time preferred; PRN and vacation coverage also considered
• Patient Population: Mostly adult, some pediatrics
• Department: 3 CRNAs, 1 full-time anesthesiologist/director; providers work in a supervised capacity
• Case Mix: General, ortho, ENT, urology, blocks, OBGYN (OB experience required)
• Special Procedures: Comfortable with epidurals and nerve blocks
• Excluded Cases: No cardiac or neuro
• EMR: Cerner
• Hospital Size: 25 beds, 3 ORs

Requirements
• NBCRNA-BC
• Active Maine License or willing to license
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
• Experience: New grads accepted; prior experience preferred
• Credentialing: 90 days (temps offered)

• Willing to license
• No Cardiac or Neuro Cases
