Schedule & Call
• Monday–Friday coverage


Practice Setting
• Acute Care Rural Hospital
• CRNA-only model (no MD oversight)
• Hospital size: 49 beds
• OR setup:
○ 4 core ORs
○ Dedicated Endoscopy room
○ Dedicated C-section OR
○ 1 flop room
○ DaVinci Robot (General & OB)
• EMR: Cerner / Oracle


Case Mix
• Orthopedics (Total joints, neuro spine, sports)
• General Surgery
• Plastics (Cosmetic & Reconstruction)
• Podiatry
• OB (35–50 C-sections/year)
• Ophthalmology (Cataracts)
• Light pediatrics (dental, laparoscopic)


Skills Required
• Nerve blocks
• OB anesthesia
• Spinals
• General anesthesia
• Pediatric experience preferred
• Rural health experience strongly preferred


Staffing & Volume
• 3–4 CRNAs on shift
• Fridays include 2 pediatric-focused CRNAs
• Busy OR environment
• Average 3–5 cases per CRNA per day, depending on case load
