Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Hospital-Based | Tertiary Care Facility | Minnesota

Position Overview

We are seeking experienced CRNAs for ongoing coverage at a Level III, tertiary care hospital in Minnesota. This opportunity offers flexible scheduling, a supportive care team model, and a diverse clinical environment.

Schedule & Coverage

Start Date: December 8, 2025 (earlier start dates may be considered)

Coverage Type: Scheduled shifts with optional call

Shift Types Available: Day, Swing, Night

Shift Lengths: 8, 10, 12, and 16 hours

Standard Schedules:

6:30 AM – 3:00 PM

6:30 AM – 5:00 PM

6:30 AM – 7:00 PM

6:30 AM – 8:00 PM

Minimum Commitment:

At least 36 hours per week

Minimum of 2 weeks per month

Full-time coverage preferred

Call Opportunities (Optional)

12-hour beeper call on select Saturdays

8-hour weeknight call

Occasional overnight shifts (weeknights and/or weekends) welcomed but not required

Practice Setting

Facility Type: Hospital-based, Level III / Tertiary Care

Care Model: Supervised, Care Team Model (4:1)

Support Staff:

24-hour Anesthesia Aide Department for room turnover and supplies

Patient Population: Ages 12+

EMR: Epic

Specialty Care: Advanced and specialized procedures

Note: CRNAs do not perform blocks, arterial lines, epidurals, or spinals.

Requirements

Active Minnesota RN License

Active Minnesota CRNA License

ACLS & BLS (Tier 2 – Advanced Cardiac Life Support) required

Minimum 1 year of CRNA experience

Skills checklist required at time of submission

Must reside 50+ miles from Abbott Northwestern Hospital

Minnesota is not a compact state

Orientation & Credentialing

Paid Orientation: 2 days (required)

Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 90–120 days

Contract Length: Ongoing

Additional Details

Overtime and holiday shifts available

All overtime must be pre-approved and documented per facility policy
