About the clinician's workday

The CRNA will deliver comprehensive autonomous anesthesia care across diverse surgical specialties including general cases, obstetric procedures, endoscopy, orthopedic surgeries, and pain management. The clinician will work a structured 3-week rotation schedule with one week of day shifts plus 24/7 call coverage, one week of day shifts only, and one week off. Primary responsibilities include epidural placement, serving as the primary clinician for newborn airway stabilization during all deliveries, and managing anesthesia care for various surgical procedures. The position requires board certification and prescriptive authority while maintaining a 1:3 call ratio in this autonomous practice environment at a critical access hospital.
