Aya Locums is seeking a CRNA for a full-time locums opportunity in Monticello, Kentucky. This position offers consistent day shifts with a call rotation in a critical access hospital setting.
Opportunity Highlights:
Full-time coverage
Day shifts, approximately 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
Scheduled call rotation required
Weekday and weekend coverage opportunities
Approximately 26-week assignment
Critical access hospital setting
Collaborative surgical and anesthesia team
Willing to consider candidates needing licensure
Start approximately 6–8 weeks after offer
Clinical Responsibilities:
Provide anesthesia for surgical procedures
Conduct comprehensive preoperative evaluations
Develop individualized anesthesia care plans
Perform airway management, including video laryngoscopy
Monitor patients throughout procedures and adjust anesthesia as needed
Collaborate with surgeons and operating room staff
Provide postoperative anesthesia care and patient education
Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program
Active Kentucky RN license
Kentucky APRN-CRNA license
2+ years of CRNA experience preferred
BLS required
ACLS required within 30 days of hire
PALS required within 90 days of hire
Comfortable participating in a call rotation
