⚠️ No new grads – minimum 1 year of independent CRNA experience required


Practice Setting

Medically directed anesthesia care team model (1:2 or 1:3 ratio)

Broad mix of surgical and procedural service lines

No OB or open-heart cases required

No call and no weekend requirements

Oral maxillofacial

Urology

Gynecology

Trauma / Critical care / Burns

Ortho trauma & ortho spine

Vascular

Kidney & pancreas transplant (no liver, heart, or lung)

Colorectal

Bariatric

Ophthalmology

Hand surgery

Procedural Areas Include:

Endoscopy

Interventional radiology

Bronchoscopy

CT

Radiation oncology

MRI

Dental

Low-acuity EP lab


Required Experience & Skillset

Minimum Requirements:

At least 1 year of experience as a practicing CRNA

Must be comfortable working in a medically directed care team model


High Priority Experience:

General anesthesia (high proficiency)

Neuro (moderate to high)

Urology (moderate to high)

ENT (moderate to high)

Endoscopy (moderate to high)

Transplant – kidney/pancreas only (moderate to high)

Arterial lines (moderate to high)


Limited to Moderate Experience Acceptable In:

Vascular

Thoracic

Trauma

Burns

Not Required:

OB

Open heart

Pain management

Nerve blocks

Neuraxial

Neonatal

Pediatric cases



Responsibilities

95% Clinical Care:

Preoperative patient assessments (biophysical, psychosocial, anesthesia parameters)

Develop and implement anesthetic care plans

Manage anesthetized patients using appropriate techniques and pharmacologic agents

Respond to changes in patient condition

Emergency airway management and intubation

Implement ACLS/CPR when necessary

Place arterial lines (central lines not required but helpful)

Collaborate with MDA, surgeons, and interdisciplinary teams

Maintain accurate documentation and safe care environment

AANA-accredited CME participation


Scheduling Details

Client prefers 12-, 14-, or 16-hour shifts

5x8s or 4x10s available for midday or night shifts only

Open to part-time providers

Especially welcoming local providers seeking flexibility
