Job description

A busy hospital is seeking a CRNA for locum tenens coverage.
Johnstown, Pennsylvania boasts a symphony orchestra, a nationally recognized Folk Fest, a gallery of the Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art, and a branch campus of the University of Pittsburgh. There is all of that and more within the northern city.
The facility has 10 main ORs which include 2 vascular rooms, 2 robotic rooms, a neurosurgery room, 2 cardiothoracic ORs, 2 ORs in OB, 2 ambulatory surgery OR's, and a bronchoscopy suite. Not all of the rooms run daily. The cases include cardiac, 3 - 4 open hearts per week, straight forward CABG, or single valve typically, about 5 TAVR per month (2-3 every other week), EP/cath lab procedures as well including ablations, simple devices, and a handful of Watchman procedures. The clinician will rarely do thoracic aortic dissection. The cases also include ENT/otolaryngology, gastroenterology, GYN, L&D, neurosurgery, ophthalmology, oral/maxillofacial (dental), orthopedic, plastic, podiatry, urology, and vascular. There will be no pain or organ procurement. The EMR system is EPIC.
