Position Overview
A large, high-acuity Level I Trauma hospital in eastern Pennsylvania is seeking locum tenens CRNAs for ongoing coverage. This is a supervised anesthesia model with a high-volume surgical environment and no call required.
Multiple providers may be considered, but full-time availability is required.
Schedule
Monday–Friday only
5×8s or 4×10s (provider must be flexible)
Overtime applies after 40 hours per week only
No call, no weekends
Minimum availability: 3 weeks per month
Ideal availability: 4 weeks per month

Level I Trauma Center
700+ bed hospital
24+ operating rooms, including hybrid ORs
Approximately 30,000 anesthesia cases annually
Stroke-certified facility
Large, collaborative anesthesia care team
Case Mix
General Surgery
Orthopedics (including complex cases)
Neuro, Head & Spine
Vascular (excluding open heart)
Cardiac procedures such as mitral clips and Watchman (no open heart)
Regional anesthesia
Trauma
Pediatrics (healthy peds; not high volume)
No OB
Anesthesia Model
Medically supervised
CRNAs work alongside anesthesiologists
Full anesthesia technician and support staff available

Active Pennsylvania CRNA license required at submission
Requirements
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Active PA license (required)
Full-time availability (minimum 3 weeks/month)
Comfortable in a high-acuity, high-volume trauma setting
Experience across broad surgical case mix
COVID vaccination required
Compensation
Hourly Rate: $230/hour
