Description

We are seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a 13-week contract assignment starting May 1, 2026. This role offers a dynamic clinical environment with a mix of independent and supervised practice models, covering a broad range of anesthesia cases across multiple patient populations. About the Facility:

This position is with a float pool supporting a well-established healthcare system in Pennsylvania. The facility utilizes the Epic EMR system and provides care for patients aged 2 years and older. CRNAs work in a collaborative environment while also maintaining the ability to independently manage cases from pre-operative assessment through post-anesthesia care.


Compensation

• Hourly Rate: $250/hour
• Travel and lodging may be considered for non-local candidates.


Job Responsibilities:

• Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care (MAC)
• Perform pre-anesthesia assessments and post-anesthesia evaluations
• Manage anesthesia for a variety of cases, including OB and C-sections
• Independently handle cases from pre-op through PACU
• Monitor patient vitals and manage hemodynamic stability
• Respond to and manage anesthesia-related emergencies (e.g., malignant hyperthermia, hypotension)
• Perform advanced airway management, including difficult intubations
• Collaborate with surgical and clinical teams in both supervised and independent practice settings


Qualifications:

• Board Certified CRNA (NBCRNA)
• Active Pennsylvania CRNA license (required; no licensing support provided)
• ACLS certification (BLS also expected)
• DEA and CSR licenses required
• Experience with Epic EMR system
• Strong clinical experience in anesthesia care, including OB cases


Working Hours

• Monday through Friday schedule
• Shift options: 8, 10, or 12 hours
• Start time: 7:00 AM
• End times vary (3:00 PM, 5:00 PM, or 7:00 PM)
• No call requirements
