This large academic medical center is a Level 1 trauma facility that provides comprehensive healthcare services to the region. The facility offers a dynamic learning environment with advanced medical technology and a collaborative team approach to patient care across multiple specialty areas.

Job Details:
• Provide anesthesia services for general, orthopedics, trauma, plastics, neurosurgery, pediatrics (ages 5 and up), endoscopy, NORA, robotic surgery, gynecology, and ENT procedures
• No cardiac, obstetrical, or regional block procedures required
• Assess, prepare and manage patients for anesthesia care in the perioperative/procedural period
• Develop and implement anesthetic plans with history and physical examinations
• Obtain informed consent and perform pre-anesthetic evaluations and post-operative assessments
• Administer general anesthesia, regional anesthesia, epidural anesthesia, spinal anesthesia, IV regional blocks, and monitored anesthesia care (MAC)
• Perform invasive monitoring and placement including CVP/CVC, pulmonary artery catheterization, and intra-arterial lines
• Schedule: (4) 10-hour shifts per week, Monday-Friday only
• Shift times: 6:30am-5pm (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday) and 7:00am-5:30pm (Thursday)
• Full-time coverage only, no call requirements

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
