General Description of Assigned Duties:
A qualified certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist is involved in the administration of Anesthesia and related services in the Operating Room and Non-Operating Room setting as delineated by the clinical and nonclinical responsibilities described under the scope of practice. The incumbent would work in a team care model of practice to provide care for patients undergoing a variety of surgical procedures including but not limited to Cardiac, Thoracic, Vascular, Neurosurgery, Orthopedics and General Surgery. 70-80% of the Veterans undergoing surgery at TVHS are ASA 3 or 4. Experience with anesthesia management for complex cardiac, vascular, thoracic, and robotic surgery is preferred. TVHS is a two-campus facility and the members of the anesthesia team provide coverage for both campuses. The incumbent will also share in call responsibilities
