Credentialing timeframe: Emergency Privileges - 30 days MUST HAVE CLEAN FILE. MUST HAVE ACTIVE TN LICENSE.
Start: ASAP after credentialing
Temp privs: Yes
Length of contract: 6 months
Shift: 4 days a week 7-5. no call, no weekends. Must offer full time.
Medical Direction Model
No blocks
Types of cases: Neuro, spine, thoracic/lung, vascular, general surgery, orthopedics, plastics, pediatrics (no sick pediatrics or neonates), and women’s services. Pump cases are covered by the cardiac team.
This is a large, high-acuity hospital with 80+ operating rooms. All surgical services are performed except transplants.
Important Note:
The practice will not approve case exclusions for any of the case types listed above. Given the high acuity and breadth of services, locum providers must be able to hit the ground running and safely manage the full scope of cases.
EMR: Meditech/Medaxion
T&E:
• Airfare: if required, reimbursement of one economy roundtrip ticket not to exceed $500
• Lodging: if required, reimbursement with receipt not to exceed $200/day
• Car Rental: if required, economy rental reimbursement with receipt not to exceed $70/day
• Mileage: if required, reimbursed at IRS rate
Submission Requirements:
• Must have 1 year of experience in a HIGH ACUITY HOSPITAL. MUST HAVE CLEAN FILE.

Additional License Requirements: Must have 1 year of experience.
