Facility & Assignment
• Houston Methodist West Hospital – Houston, TX
• Start Date: 03/02/2026 (ASAP after credentialing)
• Assignment Length: 6 months
• Credentialing: 90 days
• Cross-Credentialing: None

Schedule
• Monday–Friday day shifts
• Shift options: 7–3, 7–5, or 7–7
• Optional late shifts: 3–7 or 5–11 (provider preference)
• No overnight call

Cases & Practice Model
• Bread-and-butter general anesthesia
• No pediatrics or cardiac cases required
• Predominantly solo cases with some CRNA supervision
• Medical direction model
• One MD needed
• Minimum 1 year experience required
• Clean file required

Technology
• EMR: Epic

Compensation & Coverage
• Very competitive locum compensation
• Stipend available for non-local providers (60+ miles)
• Medical malpractice covered by Anesthesia OnCall

This is an excellent Houston-area opportunity for an anesthesiologist seeking flexible daytime scheduling, a straightforward case mix, and strong compensation without overnight call.

• Flexible Daytime Scheduling Work M–F days with options for 7–3, 7–5, or 7–7. Optional late shifts (3–7 or 5–11) available by choice.
• Bread-and-Butter Case Mix Primarily general anesthesia with no pediatrics or cardiac required. Predominantly solo with some supervision mixed in.
• Strong Compensation with Stipend Eligibility Very competitive locum pay. Stipend available for providers living 60+ miles away with matching address and valid driver’s license.
