About the clinician's workday

Clinicians in this role will provide anesthesia services during day shifts at an operating room facility in Killeen, Texas, working Monday through Friday on 5x8-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM on a waterfall/release-order schedule, with cases typically concluding by 7:00 PM. The surgical case mix includes OB, endoscopy, orthopedic, general surgery, ENT, pediatric, and ophthalmology procedures. Call coverage is negotiable and structured as pager call from home with a 30-minute callback radius; one CRNA is on call with MD backup, and call rooms are available for clinicians outside the radius. Clinicians average approximately 3-6 call shifts per month and every 6th to 8th weekend, with a post-call day off guaranteed.
