Anesthesiologist needed in Norfolk, VA - Locums

Job description

Anesthesiologist – Locum Tenens ( 13 week contract)

Shifts: 8, 10, and 12‑hour shifts (based on team needs)
Scheduled + On Call required
Providers must be comfortable with a broad range of anesthesia techniques, including regional, neuraxial, and obstetric anesthesia, as well as procedures performed in the Cardiac Cath Lab.

General Cases:
Adults & Pediatrics

Procedures & Competencies:
Spinal anesthesia, Epidural anesthesia, Regional anesthesia, Obstetrical anesthesia, Neurosurgical (Spine only), Complex vascular (non–open heart), Complex orthopedic cases, Ventilation management, Central and arterial line placement

NOT Required:
Open heart anesthesia, Thoracic cases, Pain management procedures, PA catheter placement

• 24 hour & Weekend Call
• Avaliable coverage: Full time, weekends, weeknights, or 1-2 weeks per month
