About the clinician's workday

Clinicians in this role will provide comprehensive anesthesia services under a physician supervision model during Monday through Friday day shifts, with 10- or 12-hour scheduling options and a typical anesthesia workday of 8-9 hours. The surgical case mix includes obstetric cases with epidural placement, regional blocks, pediatric procedures, cardiac cases, neurological procedures, and general surgery. Documentation is managed through the Epic EMR system, and clinicians are expected to remain until cases are complete when shifts extend, with compensation provided for additional time. Weekend call coverage is required and is negotiable in terms of scheduling arrangement.
