The clinician will deliver autonomous anesthesia care for diverse surgical procedures requiring regional blocks at a 25-bed critical access facility. The position requires working Monday through Thursday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM with rotating call coverage from 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM, plus 24-hour call coverage Friday through Sunday. Primary responsibilities include conducting thorough pre-operative patient assessments, managing intraoperative anesthesia delivery with emphasis on regional block techniques, and coordinating post-operative recovery. The clinician must maintain board certification and prescriptive authority while operating independently in an autonomous practice environment during summer coverage months.
