Position Overview:
We are seeking a Pediatric Anesthesia provider with experience or interest in congenital cardiac cases to support a high-acuity pediatric team in Washington, DC. The role requires pediatric experience with a strong preference for those with a background in cardiac anesthesia. Candidates must be willing to see cardiac patients.
Schedule & Call Details:
Shifts: 4x10s per week
Call: Weekend call rotation required
End Time Flexibility: Providers may end as early as 3:30 PM or as late as 6:30 PM, depending on patient load
Clinical & Practice Details:
Patient Population: Pediatric, including congenital cardiac patients
EMR: Cerner
Department Focus: High-acuity pediatric and pediatric cardiac care
Environment: Collaborative pediatric anesthesia team in a hospital setting
Candidate Requirements:
Certifications:
• PALS required
Experience:
• Pediatric anesthesia experience is required
• Cardiac experience preferred
• Minimum 3 years preferred, but open to reviewing less experienced providers with strong pediatric backgrounds
