Case volume varies considerably throughout the day, with possibilities ranging from managing 1 patient for the entire shift to seeing 1 patient every 35-45 minutes, typically averaging 4 cases per shift. Board certification and prescriptive authority are mandatory requirements for this role. The credentialing process takes approximately 30-45 days, and no call responsibilities are associated with this position.
