Job description

Aya Locums is seeking a CRNA for a 12-week assignment in southeast Virginia. The facility is open to candidates needing to obtain a Virginia license.

Assignment Details
• Duration: 12 weeks
• Case Types: General, Neuro, Ortho, OB, Urology, GYN, Ophthalmology, Endoscopy
• Shift Lengths: 8, 10, 12, and 24 hours required
• Shift Types: Day shifts, 24-hour OB coverage, holidays preferred; in-house call preferred

Work Details
• MD Supervision: Yes, 1 MD to 4 CRNAs; MDs also perform their own cases (rarely)
• Responsibilities: Pre-anesthesia assessment, obtaining/verifying consent, discussing anesthetic options/risks with patients, induction, maintenance, emergence, monitoring physiological condition, clinical interventions as needed
• EMR: Epic

Practice Setting
• Hospital

Requirements
• Board Certification: Certified or recertified by AANA
• License: Registered Professional Nurse; Virginia license required or able to obtain
• Education: Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program
